Roddy’s reputation for training dogs is unmatched. The main focus of the training is “Gun Dog” Training. Whether you hunt waterfowl, upland, or big game, he can train your dog to be its best. We are not breed specific, although we are limited to medium / large dogs. The breeds that have been trained here are nearly too numerous to mention. But after all “a dog is a dog”. All of our trainees are taught to be good citizens first, and then transitioned into formal training.  We have trained dogs to be assist dogs, detection dogs, companions, hunting dogs, and nearly everything in between.  We have even trained a couple of dogs to drive (If you don’t believe us, come by the kennel and see for yourself).

PARTNERSHIP

Because of Roddy’s groundbreaking behavior training methods, we have partnered with the Veterinary Technician School at Chattanooga State Technical Community College in providing instruction and fellowship time to their students. We are also developing a behavior training program for other veterinary tech / veterinary schools and practices.

WHATS INCLUDED

We have 2 requirements for dogs that stay with us for training.  The first one it that they need to be up to date on their shots.  The second is the involvement of the owners.  We are confident that we can get the dogs to do what they are supposed to, we want to assure that the family has the tools to maintain the behavior once they are at home.  The family sessions are included in our training rate.  Come out as often as you possibly can.  Even when you get home feel free to call us, email us, or better yet come see us with your questions.  We do complimentary “follow up” training sessions as a part of our service.  We want you and your dog to be the best you can be.

TO ASSURE THAT EACH TRAINEE RECEIVES THE PROPER AMOUNT OF ATTENTION, TRAINING SPACES ARE LIMITED.

Rates: $40 / daily or $ 1,050/monthly

When your dog is at our facility, the rates are all inclusive. The rate you pay includes: boarding/training, food, recreation, administration of meds.

We also offer baths for dogs that are staying at our facility.  These are available for $ 25 for a standard and $ 40 for a deluxe.

SPAYING / NEUTERING IS NOT REQUIRED FOR DOGS TO COME TO OUR FACILITY
